Rolled Kaja

Ingredients:

Maida - 1/4 Kg
Cardamom Powder (Elachi Powder) - 1/2 tea spoon
Ghee - 50g
Salt - 1 pinch
Roasted chick peas (Putnala Pappu) - 50g
Ground nuts - 50g
Kaju - 50g
sugar - 1/2 Kg
Oil - According to need for frying

Preparation of  Rolled Kaja:

1. Place a bowl on the stove and fry ground nuts.
2. Then remove its skin and make them into fine powder.
3. In the same manner fry kaju and make them into fine powder.
4. Then fry roasted chick peas and then make them into fine powder.
5. Now take a bowl, add maida, melted ghee and salt.
6. Knead them finely.
7. Then add sufficient water and it forms as a mixture for puri.
8. Take another bowl, add  ground nut powder, Elachi powder, roasted chick peas, kaju powder and mix them finely.
9.  Now place another bowl on the stove.
10. Then add sugar and half cup of water in it.
11. It forms into sugar syrup in few minutes.
12. Then off the flame.
13. Now add Elachi powder in it and close it with lid.
14.Then take maida mixture and make it into chapatti.
15. Then place the kaju powder mixture at the centre of the chapatti and roll the chapatti so that it will be lengthy.
16. Now place a wide bowl on the stove and add oil so that it is sufficient for deep fry.
17. Then add these maida rolls and  fry them until they change their color to golden brown.
18. Now take these rolls after they fry and place them in sugar syrup.
19. The rolls should be kept in the sugar syrup for 15 minutes, so that rolls will absorb the sugar syrup.
20. Therefore, Rolled Kaja is ready.
